Family Villas in Ibiza: Space, Beaches and Boat Days
Six villas that work for families, from grandparents to toddlers, plus the beaches and days out we recommend
What makes a good family villa in Ibiza
The right family villa is less about size and more about the details: how far the beach is, how the pool is set up, and whether there is space for everyone to have their own corner.
- Location: a villa within 15–20 minutes of the airport and Ibiza Town keeps transfers short with tired children.
- Space to spread out: a separate guest apartment or annex works well for grandparents or older teenagers.
- Pool and garden: if you have small children, ask us which villas have gated or fenced pools before you book.
- Help at the villa: daily cleaning, a private chef for some evenings and a stocked fridge on arrival make a big difference.
These villas from our collection work especially well for families:

For young children, sandy beaches with shallow water are easiest: Cala Llonga on the east coast, Cala Bassa in the west and Ses Salines in the south. A boat day to Formentera, with its calm turquoise water at Ses Illetes, is a highlight for all ages. We can arrange a crewed boat with paddle boards and snorkel gear, timed around nap times if needed.
Questions
Can you stock the villa before we arrive?
Yes. Send us your shopping list, including baby food or anything specific, and the fridge will be full when you walk in.
Can you arrange a private chef?
Yes, for one dinner or every day of your stay, with meals for the children too.
Which villas have fenced pools?
It varies, and it matters. Tell us the ages of your children and we'll only suggest villas that fit.
